Nature

Nowadays, overwhelmed by our lives, we have become distant from things that are essential to our species, such as nature. Although art has now become a means of success and profit for many, it was essentially created for practical purposes, out of a need to communicate and bear witness to what was being experienced. Since its origins, there has always been a very close relationship between art and nature. The natural and environmental conditions were a fundamental aspect of the earliest artistic practices experimented with by our ancestors. As history progressed, nature has always been at the center of various representations. The Natura series pays homage to the strong bond we have always had with Gaia. The subjects represented are various elements found in nature, created on handmade paper using mixed media. No matter how much we may overwhelm nature, it will always be there, ready to demonstrate that nothing is created, nothing is destroyed, but everything is transformed.
